Bio

Miles is an accomplished professional with a wealth of experience in physiotherapy, exercise physiology, and elite triathlon coaching. As a founder of both Fizzio Clinics, a group focused on helping people age well, and Sportsfizzio, a practice catering to the fitness industry, he is dedicated to helping individuals improve their health and well-being.

Prior to starting these ventures, Miles held leadership roles in the medical and allied health fields, serving as Director and CEO of RehabMx and PainMx. RehabMx provided services to those with musculoskeletal injuries and chronic medical conditions, while PainMx offered a 13-day program for chronic pain management.

Miles is also the former co-founder and CEO of Fizziofit, a cloud-based platform for health and fitness prescription and analytics. He holds several patents related to the platform’s analytics, including those focused on genetic and epigenetic expression.

With more than 37 years of experience in the field, Miles has worked with various organisations, including the International Triathlon Union, Triathlon Australia, Australian Institute of Sport, and Queensland Academy of Sport. He has also been a physiotherapist and performance coach for individual athletes in sports such as MotoGP, Equestrian, Swimming, AFL, and Rugby.

In addition to his work with clients, Miles has also been a lecturer at the University of Queensland, teaching in the Masters of Sports Physiotherapy program and the 2nd and 3rd year undergraduate Physiotherapy (Exercise Physiology) course. He also authored the Diploma of Fitness course for the Australian Institute of Applied Sciences.
